The Eagle Wagon Project

Rescued! This car needed a new home. Who knows what would have happened. Seems when someone wants and Eagle, they want to be able to drive it away. This one had the engine out for some work, but needed to be moved before that could be finished.

To see a wonderful write-up of this whole rescue mission along with photos, please see:

Good friend Doug, also known as IowaEagle, went along for moral support and technical assistance, and being a state employee, he made a great supervisor!

Some photos show the car as we loaded it up and hauled it home.

These are the photos I first saw. That chrome trim can be fixed easily.
As it sat in PA. WRONG wheels and tires, so I need a set of 15" Eagle/Jeep wheel and tires for it.
Interior - the steering wheel is actually shot (need a replacement) and the radio pod/bezel is sort of messed up so need to replace that. For the most part, the interior is good, however.
What we had to do to hold up the front differential without the engine in place to anchor things.
Loaded and gassing up Reading, PA/
As it sat on the trailer next to the garage. Moved when the new garage was finished.
Probably the only real rust, still fixable with little effort in my opinion. I have dealt with much worse...
The rest of the car realyl has little to no rust. There are numerous "door dings" as if they visited Wal-Mart frequently. (People who tend to shop and park there don't give a rip and will open their door into yours with great pleasure and at times, with force.
